Construction Litigation Associate

Location: Boston, MA

Experience: 4+ Years

Salary: $220,000 to $250,000

A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced litigation associate to join its Boston office. The role will focus on complex construction litigation and matters involving workplace and jobsite injuries, including claims arising under labor laws and related liability issues.

The associate will work on sophisticated disputes involving contractors, owners, developers, construction companies, insurers, and other businesses, with significant responsibility throughout the litigation process.

Responsibilities:

• Handle complex construction and jobsite litigation

• Manage matters involving labor law and workplace injury claims

• Take and defend depositions

• Draft and argue substantive motions

• Manage discovery and work with expert witnesses

• Evaluate liability, damages, and potential exposure

• Attend court conferences, hearings, and mediations

• Work directly with clients on case strategy

• Prepare matters for settlement, arbitration, and trial

Ideal Candidate:

• 4+ years of litigation experience

• Construction litigation experience strongly preferred

• Experience handling labor law, jobsite accident, or related liability matters

• Strong deposition and motion practice experience

• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills

• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload

• Massachusetts Bar admission
