Class A Truck Driver

We know you need to make good money...and we also know you need predictable, consistent time at home. With that in mind, Armstrong Transportation, based in Memphis, TN, offers a superior regional driving opportunity for experienced company drivers.

Our drivers are home every weekend and still earn consistent, top pay. Drivers can live just about anywhere in our network, but the best areas to live include Memphis, Little Rock, Dallas, Mississippi, Louisiana and north Alabama.

Compensation

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,200-$1,800+ (depending on experience and miles)
  • Maximum Miles: Run between 2,700-3,300 miles
  • Maximum Home Time: Run between 2,300-2,800 miles
  • 46 CPM – 55 CPM depending on experience and weekly miles
  • Additional pay for:
    • Detention: $20.00 per hour after 2 hours
    • Extra Stops: $25 per stop
    • Layover: $85 per event
    • Breakdown: $85 per event
    • 34-hour Break on Road: $100
  • Bonus Pay:
    • $1,000 Sign-On Bonus
    • $1,000 Driver Referral Bonus
    • Semi-Annual Safety Bonus: Maintain a clean safety record and earn a bonus equal to 2.0% of your total driving earnings for the 6-month period. Safe drivers earn between $1,000 and $1,600+ per year in safety bonuses.
    • Strongzone Bonus: During each week of work, the higher the driver's miles, the higher the pay per mile
  • Short Haul Pay: Higher Pay Per Mile for Shorter Trips
    • 200 - 249 Loaded Miles = $0.56
    • 150 - 199 Loaded Miles = $0.57
    • 100 - 149 Loaded Miles = $0.58
    • 50 - 99 Loaded Miles = $0.60
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years of age
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2-years of professional driving experience with a verifiable safety record
• No felony convictions
• No DUI or drug charges
• Excellent PSP and MVR
• Steady Job History
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
