Position Summary

The Floor Manager is responsible for leading daily front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, developing team members, and maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coaching and motivating others, and takes pride in creating a positive atmosphere for both guests and employees.

What You'll Do:

• Create exceptional dining and service experiences for every guest
• Engage with guests throughout service and proactively address concerns
• Resolve guest issues professionally and effectively
• Ensure service standards are consistently executed

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, motivate, and coach front-of-house team members
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training efforts
• Conduct ongoing performance coaching and development
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and hospitality
• Recognize and celebrate team successes

Operations Management

• Oversee daily floor operations during service periods
• Coordinate communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams
• Support scheduling, labor management, and shift execution
• Monitor staffing levels and business demands
• Maintain compliance with company policies and operational procedures

Financial & Business Performance

• Support sales growth initiatives and operational goals
• Assist with inventory control and cost management
• Help drive overall restaurant performance and profitability

Health, Safety & Brand Standards

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and food handling regulations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready environment
• Uphold company standards for appearance, service, and professionalism

Qualifications Required

• 2+ years of hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or service management experience
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred

• Experience with POS, scheduling, and labor management systems
• ServSafe Certification or equivalent
• Multi-unit or high-volume hospitality experience
• Hospitality Management education or related coursework
