What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

As an Infant/Toddler Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our youngest learners. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Providing responsive caregiving to meet the individual needs of infants and toddlers.
• Managing daily classroom routines, including feeding, diapering, and naptime schedules.
• Creating and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development.
• Observing and documenting children’s growth, milestones, and behaviors.
• Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure a collaborative approach to each child’s development.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
• Following all health, safety, and licensing requirements.

What You’ll Bring: Required Skills and Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who is not only qualified but also passionate about nurturing young minds. Ideal candidates will have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent (required).
• At least 1 year of experience caring for infants and toddlers (preferred).
• An Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential , early childhood coursework, or a related degree (preferred).
• Current pediatric CPR and First Aid certification , or a willingness to obtain certification within the required timeframe.
• The ability to complete required background checks, health documentation, and childcare training.
• A solid understanding of early childhood development and responsive caregiving practices.
• Personal qualities like patience, reliability, strong communication skills, and a caring approach.
• The ability to manage daily routines while addressing individual children’s needs.
• Must speak fluent English.
