Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray TechnicianFull-Time | On-Site Job Description We are seeking a professional and dependable Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technician to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be committed to patient safety, accuracy, efficiency, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced clinical environment. Essential Job Duties Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and escort patients to imaging rooms. Provide verbal and written instructions and assist patients with proper positioning of body parts to be radiographed. Explain procedures clearly and observe patients throughout the imaging process to ensure safety, comfort, and quality care. Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images of the body. Position radiologic equipment and adjust controls, including exposure time and distance, according to examination specifications. Perform X-rays in accordance with established radiologic requirements, regulations, and safety standards. Use appropriate radiation safety measures and protective devices to ensure the safety of patients and team members. Ensure radiologic equipment remains in proper working order and promptly report equipment malfunctions to the Lead Radiologic Technologist. Retrieve radiologic orders and accurately enter related information into the electronic medical record system. Maintain accurate documentation and complete assigned tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Perform all other duties as assigned. Education & Experience Requirements Graduate of an accredited school for X-ray technicians or radiologic technology; ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required. Current applicable licensure in the State of Mississippi. Minimum of two years of related experience preferred. Additional Requirements Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to stand for 6–8 hours per day, including frequent walking, stooping, and bending. Ability to move equipment and assist with transferring patients safely. Proficiency with electronic medical record systems preferred. Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to complete tasks efficiently and accurately while working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Demonstrated ability to analyze information and resolve complex problems. Ability to work independently while effectively managing time, priorities, and workload.
