Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse position in Fruitland, Idaho. This role involves providing acute care within a small, busy ER facility that manages a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to handle common emergency diagnoses and treatments.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM, with a schedule of 6 weeks at a time; shifts may include weekends and holidays as needed.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (American Heart Association or American Red Cross certifications). A minimum of 3 years of emergency room experience; new travelers with relevant skills are considered.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in small hospital settings and with rapid triage. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are highly preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The ER treats approximately 40-50 patients daily. The department has a charge nurse 24/7, with in-house security and support staff including CNA, unit clerk, radiology technician, and RT available around the clock. The facility has imaging services such as XR, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and laboratory services managed by both phlebotomists and RNs. Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility. One 8 to 12-hour shift orientation plus general orientation is provided before starting.
