Overview Electrical Controls Estimator position in New York City, NY. Delta Construction Partners is retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for this role. Total compensation for the Electrical Controls Estimator in New York City, NY is between $100,000 and $120,000 per year. Healthcare coverage / insurance package, 401(k) retirement plans, PTO/vacation time, sick days, and holidays are provided. Responsibilities Prepare estimates for a range of projects in high volume. Work on projects including all types of low voltage systems, specifically building automation and building management. Estimate the controls scope including control devices, wiring diagrams, and integration with BMS/BAS systems. Collaborate with Project Managers and Preconstruction Teams to coordinate meetings and review documents. Prepare reports for management. Negotiate change-orders. Qualifications Must have 1+ years’ experience in electrical controls with familiarity of BMS/BAS systems. Must have experience bidding on commercial projects - low voltage. Strong employment stability; demonstrates prioritization, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
