This leader will be responsible for equipping children, students, and parents to build a resilient faith in Jesus Christ. The ideal candidate will bring strategic alignment, foster collaboration among ministry leaders, and empower parents as primary spiritual leaders in their homes. Key Qualities & Expectations Visionary Leadership Champions a holistic discipleship strategy that integrates children, students, and parents. Ensures that all Next Gen ministries are aligned with Wooddale Church’s mission to make disciples for Jesus Christ. Innovates and inspires ministry leaders to develop fresh approaches to engage and disciple the next generation. Strategic Connector Establishes unity across all Next Gen ministries, creating a seamless discipleship pathway from birth to young adulthood. Develops and supports Next Gen staff, coaching them to grow as leaders and disciple-makers. Builds strong bridges between Next Gen Ministries and the broader church community. Parent Equipper Implements a clear strategy to equip and support parents as the primary faith leaders in their children's lives. Provides biblical resources and practical tools for parents to foster faith formation at home. Creates opportunities for families to engage in worship, discipleship, and service together. Culture Shaper Cultivates a collaborative and innovative team environment where Next Gen leaders work together rather than in silos. Inspires ministry leaders to dream big, take risks, and reach out to those outside the church. Builds a culture of accountability, spiritual depth, and servant leadership within the team.
