Experienced Site Supervisor – Roofing & Exteriors

Red Dog Exteriors LLC | Fitchburg, MA | Full-Time

Red Dog Exteriors is looking for an experienced  Roofing & Exterior Site Supervisor to help schedule, coordinate, and oversee residential and commercial roofing and exterior projects throughout Central Massachusetts.

This is a  hands-on field position for someone with roofing and exterior construction experience who can coordinate crews, keep projects moving, troubleshoot jobsite issues, and perform minor repairs when needed.

We're looking for someone who understands construction, takes ownership, communicates well, and can solve problems in the field.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate roofing and exterior projects.
• Coordinate daily schedules with roofing and exterior crews.
• Confirm crews, materials, dumpsters, equipment, and other job requirements are ready before project start.
• Communicate project details and expectations with crews and subcontractors.
• Visit active jobsites to monitor progress, workmanship, safety, and cleanliness.
• Keep projects on schedule and communicate delays or changes.
• Coordinate multiple active and upcoming projects.
• Review project scopes and job requirements before construction begins.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and property owners.
• Identify and troubleshoot roofing and exterior issues.
• Perform minor roofing, siding, window, flashing, and exterior repairs as needed.
• Handle minor punch-list and warranty/service items when appropriate.
• Identify repairs or issues that require a larger crew or additional work.
• Coordinate additional materials or labor when unexpected conditions are discovered.
• Complete final job inspections and punch lists.
• Document job progress, photos, issues, and project information.
• Communicate regularly with the office, sales, production, and management teams.

This is not a full-time installer position , but you must be comfortable working with your hands and completing minor repairs when needed.

Experience Required

Previous  roofing or exterior construction experience is required.

We're looking for experience with several of the following:

• Asphalt shingle roofing
• EPDM/rubber roofing
• TPO/commercial roofing
• Siding
• Windows
• Exterior trim
• Flashing and waterproofing
• Roof ventilation
• Leak diagnosis
• Roofing and exterior repairs
• Residential and/or commercial construction
• A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required.
• Applicants must be able to safely climb ladders, access residential and commercial roofs, carry tools and equipment, and work outdoors in New England weather conditions.

Previous experience as a  site supervisor, roofing foreman, crew leader, service technician, project manager, or experienced installer is a plus.
