As a Thoracic Surgeon within our organization’s healthcare team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing medical practices related to thoracic trauma, oncology, and respiratory health. Your responsibilities will include assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with surgical requirements pertaining to the vascular system, as well as performing necessary surgical procedures. - A Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. medical or osteopathic school; foreign graduates may apply with a permanent certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.
- A current medical license to practice in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
- Eligibility for board certification.
- Completion of at least one year in an accredited graduate medical education internship.
- Successful completion of a thoracic surgery training program.
- Ages between 21 and 42 (with waivers considered on an individual basis).
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
