MRI Technologist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure
• 2 years' experience as an MRI Tech
• BLS certification
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT
• 3-5 years of MRI experience
• Experience with outpatient, inpatient, and ED patient types including patients with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, whole body, and cardiac cases
• GE and Siemens experience
• EPIC experience
• Experience with GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera, Siemens Magnetom Skyra, and McKesson PACS
• COVID vaccine required

Assignment Details

• Monday-Thursday 2pm-10:30pm
• 32 hours per week
• Weekend rotation: maximum every 3rd weekend
• On call: Saturday and Sunday nights 9:00pm-6:30am
• Back-up on call: Saturday and Sunday 6:30am-9:00pm
• 30-minute response time
• Weekly rotating responsibility for first-shift backup on-call and weekend on-call
• Weekend on-call occurs approximately once every 8 weeks and includes on-site Saturday hours with a compensatory weekday off scheduled
• No floating. MRI only

Location Highlights

Milwaukee, Wisconsin offers travel clinicians access to Lake Michigan shoreline and a mix of urban neighborhoods, with Bradford Beach and the Historic Third Ward both within about 15 minutes of central Milwaukee. The city features the Milwaukee RiverWalk and the Milwaukee Art Museum, including the Quadracci Pavilion, and General Mitchell International Airport is about 15 minutes from downtown. Outdoor options include Lakeshore State Park near the downtown lakefront and the Hank Aaron State Trail, while nearby cultural stops include the Harley-Davidson Museum and Milwaukee Public Market.
