Travel RN - CVICU - Nights

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients in the ICU setting
• Manage high-acuity patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring and critical care interventions
• Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators, arterial lines, and spinal drains
• Perform ECG interpretation and continuous cardiac monitoring
• Manage temporary pacemakers and titrate vasoactive and inotropic drip infusions
• Document and coordinate patient care using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New York State
• Minimum 2–3 years of staff-level CVICU experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Trauma Level One facility experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Competency assessment must be completed within 24 hours of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with complex hemodynamic monitoring in a high-acuity critical care environment
• Strong familiarity with vasoactive and inotropic medication management
• Experience in a large academic or Level One Trauma center setting
