Job Description As a Principal Software Engineer, you will play a strategic leadership role in the architecture and development of modern, high-impact web applications. You will work hands‑on with cutting‑edge front‑end technologies—especially React 19—while mentoring teams, defining technical direction, and driving engineering excellence across the organization. You will lead the delivery of scalable, resilient, and high‑performance systems, shape our design system and component architecture, and evolve our platform capabilities to support a diverse ecosystem of applications. You will also champion innovation, strong engineering culture, and continuous learning. Core Requirements and Responsibilities Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following: Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance React 19 applications using modern component patterns, concurrent features, and optimized rendering flows. Innovates and crafts clean code Helps lead and mitigates the impact of technical decisions across the entire product Coordinates with Experience Design and software development teams across the department in designing and implementing pragmatic and best‑fit solutions Takes ownership of vision and development of technologies, infrastructure, and common components across our tech stack. Build and optimize rich UI experiences using: React 19 concurrent features TypeScript Define and evolve design‑system‑driven component architecture Drive front‑end performance optimization, including React Compiler Mentors other developers and teams Fosters and develops a community of practice across the entire development organization Evaluates and recommends tools, technologies and processes ensuring highest quality product platform Provides support for existing products and developing new products Contributes to defining and enforcing procedures, standards, and methodologies related to software development Troubleshoot code problems quickly and efficiently.
