Painter

Job Title

Paints parts and mixes paints for the parts on the line; maintains equipment as needed.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Looks at paperwork for paint exposures to properly paint the product.
• Prepares the parts to be painted.
• Paints parts as they move down the assembly line.
• Loads and unloads parts on the line.
• Cleans out paint pots.
• Cleans the booths and lines.
• Performs maintenance and rebuilds paint equipment as needed
• Performs other duties as needed or assigned

Education And Work Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED): and one to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Skills And Ability Requirements:

Body shop and painting experience is helpful. Knowledge of using spray paints and experience in mixing paints helpful. Ability to analyze and problem-solve required.
