Facility Maintenance Supervisor New Joliet, IL

Job Summary We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations across our manufacturing facilities. The Supervisor will manage a team of maintenance technicians, coordinate work orders, and ensure facility readiness for production. Core Job Duties Coordinate and oversee building inspections, procurement of bids, and operational projects. Manage a team of maintenance technicians, directing repairs and assigning work orders. Develop and maintain schedules for HVAC, lighting, roof, and other building system inspections. Maintain building systems—lighting, HVAC, thermostats, life safety, fencing, and security. Keep a performance log of maintenance activities. Assign plumbing, painting, and carpentry work orders to technicians. Secure and manage keys for all areas. Oversee and coordinate vendors and contractors, including landscaping, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. Maintain inventory of janitorial, mechanical, and electrical supplies. Move equipment, tools, and supplies between properties as needed. Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving. Monitor utility usage and manage building energy systems, including automation. Required Experience, Education, and Skills 3+ years industrial building maintenance experience. 3+ years supervisory experience. Ability to read machine prints and assign repair duties. Experience with piping systems (air, water, steam), industrial electrical installations, and control circuits. Relevant technical knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. HVAC certification is a plus. Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving in a production environment. Ability to work well under pressure, communicate effectively, and perform physical tasks up to 50 lbs. $70,000 – $78,000 USD.

Additional Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age. Must comply with all legal and company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
