Under general supervision, performs routine and specialized cardiac sonographic procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Executing basic clinical competence in cardiac sonography in all locations across all patient types.
• Applying knowledge of cardiac sonography principles and practices, including anatomy and physiology, physics, positioning and patient care skills.
• Documenting accurate patient care activity in various electronic health records systems.
• Ensuring a safe and appropriate work environment. Maintaining supplies and inventory in area. Informing appropriate colleague when supplies need to be ordered from outside vendors. Documenting and reporting related equipment/environmental problems in accordance with policy.
• Actively participating in departmental and organizational performance improvement initiatives and efforts to improve workflows, patient experience and quality. Actively participating in student and employee training and educational activities.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an approved and accredited ultrasound educational program.
• No experience necessary.

Licensures/certifications:

• RDMS certification or CCI certification.
• Basic cardiac life support certification.

Pay range: $35.08-$52.64.
