About the Role We’re hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate bulldozers, long-reach excavators, loaders, haul trucks, and skid steers across multiple aggregate sites. This role also includes daily maintenance responsibilities to keep equipment in safe and reliable condition. What You’ll Do Operate a range of heavy equipment as needed to support production and reclamation activities Perform regular maintenance on machinery, including greasing, fueling, cleaning, and minor repairs Complete detailed inspection and maintenance reports accurately Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with MSHA regulations Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and up to 100 lbs with assistance Ability to work in various weather conditions Safely access and navigate facilities, including climbing and descending ladders Prolonged periods of sitting and standing Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed What You Bring to the Table High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required General knowledge of heavy equipment with at least 1 year of experience in bulldozers, long-reach excavators, loaders, haul trucks, and skid steers preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain professional relationships with managers and colleagues while supporting company goals Strong mechanical skills preferred Willingness to learn, with a positive attitude, dependability, and teamwork focus Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive Benefits Package including medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match Paid Time Off (PTO), holidays, and additional leave options Life Insurance (Company Paid) and Disability Coverage Employee Assistance Program and other wellness benefits Safety Allowances for shoes and glasses after 6 months YMCA Membership at no cost for employees Genoa Limestone LLC is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
