Position Overview Collins Aerospace Maintenance Repairs Operation is seeking an Entry‑Level Mechanical Repair Technician for its Santa Fe Springs, CA site. The role is onsite and requires U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residence. Responsibilities Work onsite at Santa Fe Springs, CA. Perform complete operation checkouts, modifications, and repair corrections. Inspect incoming assemblies and components according to procedures and technical data. Set up repair and test facilities. Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Repair units that fail test or tolerance levels. Assemble fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations. Use hand and power tools for part and component assembly. Ensure short-cycle‑time repairs and returns while maintaining quality processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline. Basic computer skills for documenting repairs and following work instructions. Basic experience operating hand tools, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and test equipment. Experience with measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, hydraulic gauges, etc. Accurately read and interpret blueprints and overhaul manuals for assembly purposes. Preferred Qualifications Experience in mechanical repair of aircraft components. Benefits and Compensation Salary range: $41,720 to $78,432. Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
