OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in New Britain, CT by HMD Trucking

Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
Operate nationwide dry-van routes for HMD Trucking from the New Britain, CT area, delivering consistent service on long-haul lanes. You’ll run late-model company tractors maintained by an in-house team, focusing on safe driving practices and timely deliveries.
Primary duties:
- Safely drive tractor-trailer combinations on OTR routes and secure cargo per company standards.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and keep accurate ELD logs and delivery paperwork.
- Coordinate with dispatch regarding routing, delivery windows, and equipment needs.
Requirements:
- Must hold a CDL-A and have a minimum of 12 months verifiable experience.
