Monday-Friday | No Nights | No Weekends Immediate Opportunity - Fast-Growing Family Medicine Practice Nextaff is partnering with a new, rapidly expanding family medicine practice in Sarasota seeking a BXMO-certified Medical Assistant with strong phlebotomy skills. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a modern, patient-focused clinic offering long-term growth and stability. ? Position Overview The Medical Assistant will support both clinical and diagnostic functions, including patient intake, phlebotomy, and X-ray procedures, while delivering a high-quality patient experience. ? Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient rooming, vitals, and intake documentation
• Conduct phlebotomy (venipuncture) and specimen handling
• Perform X-ray imaging (BXMO required) in compliance with Florida regulations
• Accurately update and maintain Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Assist providers with exams and basic clinical procedures
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked, clean, and prepared
• Deliver professional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• BXMO Certification in State of Florida (Required)
• Minimum 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care settings
• Phlebotomy experience required
• Strong experience with EMR systems and documentation
• Medical Assistant certification preferred (not required)
• Excellent communication, organization, and patient care skills
