The future of cybersecurity starts with you.About the Role:As a Director of Program Management in our Continuous Identity engineering organization, you will lead strategic program execution across one of CrowdStrike's most critical security capabilities. Continuous Identity ensures real-time identity verification and access control across our platform, protecting our customers from identity-based threats. In this role, you'll own and drive complex, cross-functional engineering programs spanning multiple teams and organizations, mobilizing stakeholders across organizational boundaries to deliver identity solutions that scale with CrowdStrike's growth and evolving threat landscape.You'll partner closely with engineering leaders, security architects, and cross-functional teams globally to align roadmaps, manage dependencies, surface critical issues early, and drive programs to resolution with quality, consistency, and urgency. This role combines executive-level program leadership with building AI-powered solutions that automate routine work, surface insights, and enhance decision-making for the teams you support. We're seeking a seasoned leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and can elevate program management maturity through innovative, AI-enhanced practices.PLEASE NOTE: This role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site at one of the posted locations.What You'll Do:Strategic Program Leadership Own complex, cross-functional identity programs end-to-end, operating independently from concept through measurable delivery across authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management initiativesDrive roadmap alignment across Continuous Identity and partner engineering organizations (Falcon platform, Cloud Security, Detection & Response), facilitating cross-org planning that ties program priorities to CrowdStrike's strategic imperativesLead Continuous Identity's quarterly and annual strategic planning — owning the process, documentation, and how the organization prioritizes and staffs work across identity verification, access management, and threat detection capabilitiesAct as the neutral party across engineering and leadership teams, navigating roadmap conflicts and competing senior-leader priorities to build consensus on identity architecture decisions and implementation sequencingPartner with engineering leaders at every level, from unblocking technical issues with engineers to delivering synthesized executive updates on program health, security risks, and decisions neededAnticipate cross-team dependencies and risks before they become blockers — particularly across identity providers, platform integrations, and compliance requirements — and drive mitigation with clear accountabilityBuild a culture of accountability across distributed teams, reduce friction in how Continuous Identity plans and delivers, and mentor program managers across the organizationEnsure identity programs meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements while maintaining velocityBuild AI-powered workflows, dashboards, and automated reporting that improve portfolio visibility across identity initiatives and cut manual overheadDeploy AI agents and integrations across Jira, GitLab, monitoring, and identity infrastructure systems that automatically surface program health, security risks, and dependenciesAutomate routine program management work to free capacity for strategic planning, cross-org leadership, and proactive risk managementDrive AI adoption across Continuous Identity through reusable agents, prompts, and workflows that scale organizational efficiencySet the standard for AI use in program management, establishing repeatable patterns others can build on across CrowdStrike engineeringWhat You'll Need:15+ years driving complex, cross-functional engineering programs in fast-moving, high-scale environments — with a portfolio of outcomes you can point to, not just processes you ranExecutive-level influence and leadership. You've earned trust with VPs and senior engineering leaders, brokered alignment when their priorities collided, and been the person leadership turns to for the real statusComfort as the most senior program voice in the room. You operate with full autonomy in ambiguity — orienting fast, deciding what matters, and moving without waiting for directionOwnership of org-level strategic planning. You've run quarterly and annual planning end-to-end for an engineering organization, including roadmap ownership, sequencing tradeoffs, and executive reportingA track record of changing how organizations work, not just how programs run — process improvements that outlived your involvement and scaled beyond your immediate teamsSignal-over-noise communication. You compress complexity into the two things leadership needs to decide, and shift instantly between an engineer's blocker and an engineering leader's roadmapTechnical credibility in identity and security domains. You've supported portfolios across identity management, authentication systems, access control, or security infrastructure, and know relevant technologies (OAuth/OIDC, SAML, PKI, IAM platforms, zero-trust architectures) well enough to challenge estimates and assess real technical risk. Platform tooling experience (Go, Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD) is essential. Expert-level Jira and Agile/Scrum command is a givenGenuine AI fluency and a multiplier effect. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location.
