Yorkshire & Stonebridge Assisted Living, a nonprofit organization, is looking for a dynamic, motivated individual to join their team as a Cook in Walker, MI. Yorkshire & Stonebridge offers a fun, homelike, family environment with varying levels of care needs.


As Cook, you will have the opportunity to prepare and serve nutritionally balanced, quality food to residents as directed by the Food Service Director. You are responsible for keeping the equipment, kitchen, and dining areas clean.


Qualified candidates will possess:

• A passion for our mission of caring for people as they age.

• High school diploma or GED

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative work style

• One year of experience cooking/baking and preparing special diets in a long term care or assisted living setting OR a combination of education and experience
