Overview Of Responsibilities As a Produce Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market, you will embody our commitment to farm‑fresh produce and customer service. You will be responsible for handling, preparing, and merchandising produce to meet company schematics, ensuring accurate pricing and tagging, stocking and rotating merchandise, trimming, watering, and maintaining product quality, and answering customer questions in a friendly and helpful manner. Restricted Tasks for Team Members Under 18 Using a knife (other than safety cutters) Using a ladder Operating garbage or cardboard compactor Operating any motor‑powered equipment (including manual pallet jacks) Working in coolers or freezers for prolonged periods of time Qualifications Be at least 16 years of age. Be dependable and reliable, capable of working a flexible schedule that may change, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Demonstrate mutual respect for others and maintain a high level of ethical conduct within Sprouts’ inclusive culture. Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers. Possess good communication skills, take direction well, and participate in a team environment. Be able to perform repetitive activities, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized. Require standing, walking, bending, climbing throughout the workday; lift, stack, and maneuver objects up to 50 pounds, and operate a utility cart holding up to 20 pounds. Be able to walk up to 5 miles in an 8‑hour shift. Adhere to all safety, health, OSHA, and Weights and Measures regulations. Perform other related duties as assigned. Pay Range The pay range for this position is $19.70 – $26.57 per hour, based on applicable experience and qualifications.
