Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of oncology patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various nursing staff levels, ensuring safe, effective care and proper delegation.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines (medicine, pharmacy, dietary, social work) to optimize patient outcomes.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in assessment, planning, and response to changes in patient condition.
- Document and communicate patient status, treatments, and responses clearly to the care team and family as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active California RN license (or eligibility) for licensure as a practicing nurse.
- Oncology nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts in a hospital setting.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and supervisory skills.
- Comfortable coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team and supervising staff during a night shift.
