The nurse will care for patients in the obstetrics and gynecology specialty. This role includes couplet care and working in a labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum setting. Nurses will be responsible for maintaining patient safety and providing quality care. Patient ratios will be in accordance with AWHONN guidelines. The nursing staff will utilize electronic health records for documentation. Flexibility in scheduling may be required based on patient census. The position does not require floating to different units but may involve some task support. Supervision will be provided by the designated manager. A focus on teamwork and effective communication is essential for success in this role.
