We are looking for a 3D Visualization Specialist / 3D Imaging Specialist for an AI-powered medical technology company in Austin, TX.

*No medical or healthcare experience required.

If you've worked with 3D modeling, animation, CAD, rendering, visualization, video game environments, CGI, GIS, digital art, or other 3D imaging tools, we'd love to talk with you.

Successful candidates have come from backgrounds including 3D animation, video game design, CAD design, digital art, visualization, and medical imaging.

*10 Weeks of Paid Training

You'll receive hands-on training to learn how to transform cardiac CT scan data into detailed 3D models that help physicians identify plaque buildup, narrowed arteries, blockages, and blood flow restrictions.

Role Logistics:

• Location: Austin, TX (100% Onsite)
• Contract: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
• Training: 10 weeks of paid onsite classroom training
• Training Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
• Post-Training Schedule: Assigned 40-hour schedule within operating hours of 6:00 AM-10:00 PM, 7 days per week
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Rotating weekends and holidays

Day to Day

• Create and refine detailed 3D models using proprietary software
• Interpret imaging data and convert it into accurate 3D visualizations
• Review and inspect models for quality, accuracy, and completeness
• Identify visual discrepancies, errors, and data issues
• Follow detailed processes and documentation requirements
• Provide feedback on software updates and process improvements
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Work in a highly detail-oriented, computer-based production environment

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher, 3D modeling/animation education, or 2+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with 3D modeling, CAD, animation, visualization, rendering, GIS, digital imaging, or similar work
• Strong attention to detail with experience reviewing work for accuracy and quality
• Comfortable learning new software and technical processes
• Ability to maintain focus during prolonged computer-based work
• Comfortable working in a light-controlled production environment
• Availability for the full 10-week training schedule
• Flexibility to work assigned morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts after training

Plusses

• Medical imaging technology experience
• CT, MRI, Radiology, PACS, or biological sciences background
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, SolidWorks, Rhino, Cinema 4D, CATIA, or GIS software
• Quality control, visual inspection, or model validation experience

Compensation: $24.50/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
