Travel Physical Therapist Position Summary We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist to evaluate patients and provide rehabilitation services to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence. The therapist will develop individualized treatment plans across various healthcare settings. Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical abilities and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation interventions.
- Help patients improve mobility, balance, strength, and coordination.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and families on exercises and injury prevention.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient recovery.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and therapy guidelines.
- Adapt to different facilities and patient populations while traveling.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree.
- Current Physical Therapist license in the applicable state.
- Previous physical therapy experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with healthcare teams.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different clinical settings.
