Construction Quality Control Manager - Healthcare GTMO Advance your career with RQ Construction as a Construction Quality Control Manager (CQCM) supporting a large-scale ambulatory care and dental clinic project located at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba . This role is part of our Field Operations team and requires on-site participation. Compensation & Overseas Benefits This position offers a salary range of $130,000-$160,000 , along with a comprehensive international assignment package. Basic Requirements Applicants must have prior experience as a Quality Control Manager on healthcare construction projects, be willing to relocate to Guantanamo Bay, and possess a valid passport. Position Overview The CQCM is responsible for developing and administering a project-specific quality control plan. This includes ensuring all work complies with contractual standards, maintaining timely and accurate documentation, coordinating quality activities across the project team, and fostering strong client relationships-all while reflecting RQ's core values. Experience & Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in commercial construction (or equivalent), including roles such as Superintendent, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or QC Manager At least 2 years of direct experience serving as a Quality Control Manager Active USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors certification required; RMS/QCS knowledge preferred (training available) Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year program (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field preferred) Specialized inspection certifications and licenses are highly desirable Previous work on medical or healthcare facilities strongly preferred LEED Accredited Professional (AP/AP+) or Green Associate credentials are a plus Required certifications include EM 385-1-1 Level 1, CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour (training available if needed) Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications required Familiarity with construction management software such as Viewpoint/Vista and RMS/QCS preferred About RQ Construction Based in Carlsbad, California, RQ Construction is a full-service design-build firm managing projects across the United States and internationally.
