Job Summary:Position Type: Full-TimePay Range: $20.00-$23.00 DOEWork Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PMWe’re looking for a strong physical worker to assist our forklift operators with unloading/loading 53’ dry van trailers. This position will be mostly manual labor but with the opportunity to progress to a forklift operator over time. Frequent lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying freight is required. In addition to unloading/loading trailers, our warehouse workers assist our team of in-house drivers to load and off load freight in a timely manner. Our warehouse workers also receive and process inbound freight being dropped to our dock by outside carriers. They label pallets and boxes when received and verify the documentation and condition of incoming shipments to assure quality standards are met.Warehouse Workers are responsible for staging shipments in the proper area of the warehouse and maintaining a safe and clean warehouse and yard. This is a safety sensitive position and falls under federal drug and alcohol regulations.California Sierra Express has been in business for over 35 years.
