Facility Monitor
Location: Oceanside, CA 92056 Schedule: Monday - Friday (2 PM - 10:30 PM) MUST train on 1st shift for 3 weeks Pay: $20.00/hour
Summary: The Facility Monitor is responsible for the setup, breakdown, and post-event cleanup of major events, ensuring that equipment and recreational areas are fully functional and properly maintained before, during, and after events. This position includes inspecting and performing basic maintenance on equipment to ensure it is in good working order for all scheduled activities. Additionally, the Facility Monitor will be overseeing and perform general maintenance tasks, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and safety throughout the recreational facilities.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs minor repairs to equipment for audiovisual, thermostats, kitchen equipment and plumbing problems as needed.
- Responsible for the setups and breakdowns of chairs, tables, various types of equipment used in recreational programs both inside and outside the Clubhouse area.
- Set up the A/V equipment for special events to include (loudspeakers, microphones, T.Vs, lights, etc.).
- Responsible for opening/closing of facilities, making of coffee, helping with special events and emptying of trash through the recreational areas.
- Complete the daily check-off list as required.
- Cleans and sanitizes indoor/outdoor common areas and surfaces.
- Conducts daily periodic checks of restrooms and all other facilities for cleanliness and supplies.

- Any additional job duties as required by supervisor.
Qualification Requirements:
- Must have a valid California Driver License.
- You must have reliable transportation and the ability to drive within the community.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
- Comfortable with working independently
- Ability to perform basic maintenance functions for minor day-to-day repairs
- Knowledge of related safety practices.
- Ability to work a Flexible Schedule and may be required to work holidays.
Education And/or Experience:
- 2 or more years of experience working in facilities
- High School Diploma.
Language Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Proficient in English
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, such as exposure to outdoor weather.
- Capacity to perform repetitive motions and tasks as needed.
- Ability to wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
Dress Code:
- Uniform shirt, appropriate work pants, close-toed shoes, or boots.
- Interior and exterior portions of a Recreational Facility.
