Role Description The Clinical Therapist is a full-time, on-site position based in Livonia, MI, working directly with children, adolescents, and adults. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing ongoing therapeutic interventions in alignment with best practices. The Clinical Therapist will facilitate individual and family sessions, coordinate care with other providers and staff, and monitor progress through regular documentation and evaluation. The role also involves collaborating with caregivers to build skills, offering psychoeducation, and participating in team meetings and case reviews to ensure integrated, high-quality care in a supportive preschool-like environment. Qualifications Background in Social Work and Case Management, with the ability to coordinate services and advocate for children and families. Training in Psychology and Mental Health, including experience with neurodevelopmental and behavioral conditions such as autism. Skills in Family Therapy, with a focus on supporting caregivers and strengthening family systems. Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field; full licensure required (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LLP) Experience working with children and families in clinical or school-based settings; prior ABA or autism-focused experience is an asset. Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to evidence-based practice, cultural responsiveness, and maintaining ethical and professional standards of care.

COMPETENCIES AND ABILITIES:

Comprehensive therapeutic skills including assessment of children and adults, providing clinical services to groups and/or individuals, assisting clients in identifying and utilizing strengths to build treatment plans, and knowledge of developmental stages, and impact of trauma on development. Ability to work flexible hours consistent with program needs (i.e., some evenings work is required). Ability to demonstrate compassion and sensitivity, and to respect the privacy and special needs of our clients. Development and implementation of Individualized Plan of Service Knowledge of theory and practice of individual, group and family systems treatment.
