Loan Accountant

Role Description
The Loan Accountant will work with our Retail team to record, monitor, and audit accounting items and system information related to loan accounting and the general ledger. Plus provides ongoing and timely support for the Finance and Accounting departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or business management
- Minimum of one year’s experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of loan accounting systems and software
- Understanding of accounting principles, practices, and methods
- Ability to interpret and apply GAAP
- Proficient in completing tax and regulatory forms
- Skilled in analyzing information to form logical and objective conclusions
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong oral and written communication skills
