Check us out on our website DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following):Maintain a new business production minimum, as outlined in employee contract.Build a referral database and cultivate a sphere of influence in order to obtain sales opportunities from within Movement Mortgage, as well as any outside relationships that offer an opportunity for sales leads.Maintain current and thorough knowledge of market conditions, coverages and carrier underwriting, and product knowledge.Offer recommendations to management, as needed.Maintain positive relationships with insurance carriers, so as to either achieve or retain a favorable status for Movement Insurance.REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND ABILITIES(To perform the job successfully, the candidate should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this job.)3+ years previous sales experience working with personal lines of insurance (home and auto)P&C Sales license requiredSelf-starter with excellent time management, adaptability, organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to maintain the highest level of confidentialityPresent self in professional manner and able to interact with all levels of organization and outside contactsAbility to manage new and existing relationshipsExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong computer skills – including Microsoft Office and industry-specific computer softwareAbility to work in a fast-paced environment for extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidaysWorking knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and industry standardsThe expected salary range for this position is between:$35,000.00 - $95,000.00The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences.
