Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Radiation Therapist. Knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures involved in modern radiation therapy equipment, simulation, imaging, and treatment procedures. Knowledge of human anatomy and proper patient positioning. Ability to demonstrate clinical reasoning, lead and instruct support staff, and stay current with clinical practice developments. Strong communication skills to establish effective relationships with patients, families, and medical staff. Ability to assume responsibility for departmental projects related to safety, training, and quality improvement.
