This is a full-time, in-office position offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.About the RoleWe are seeking an Associate Attorney with 2–5 years of insurance defense litigation experience to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have experience handling personal injury, motor vehicle defense, automobile negligence, trucking, and general liability matters and be comfortable managing an active caseload from inception through resolution.This position offers immediate responsibility, meaningful courtroom experience, and the opportunity to work closely with experienced litigators representing insurers and their insureds.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage an active caseload from initial investigation through trial, settlement, or other resolutionDraft pleadings, specialized defense motions, discovery requests and responses, and carrier status reportsTake and defend depositions of plaintiffs, expert witnesses, fact witnesses, and corporate representativesAttend court hearings, case management conferences, mediations, arbitrations, and other litigation proceedingsDevelop litigation strategy and evaluate liability and damagesMaintain regular communication with insurance carriers, clients, experts, and opposing counselEnsure compliance with court deadlines and client reporting requirementsCollaborate with attorneys and staff to provide exceptional client serviceQualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolActive member in good standing with the Florida Bar2–5 years of hands-on insurance defense or civil litigation experienceExperience handling personal injury and motor vehicle defense matters requiredExperience with automobile negligence, commercial trucking, and general liability/premises liability matters strongly preferredStrong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skillsExperience taking and defending depositions and appearing in courtAbility to independently manage multiple litigation matters in a fast-paced environmentWhat We OfferQPWB offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployer-paid life insurance and short-term disability401(k) with employer matchPaid vacation, holidays, and personal time offOpportunities for professional growth and advancement within a national law firmQPWB is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
