Generative AI Lead Designer

Nike's Design Generative Studio is hiring a designer who pairs creative expertise with AI tool-building, developing AI-augmented workflows that empower the footwear design community alongside global AI/ML engineers and designers. Location Beaverton, OR On-site Seniority Lead Compared with 37 other Product roles: Common across similar roles Unique to this role What you'll do Responsibilities Partner with footwear designers to identify opportunities for AI integration that enhance creative processes Design and prototype generative AI workflows using node-based visual coding environments Common Act as a bridge between creative and engineering teams, translating design needs into technical specifications Common Scale prototypes from proof-of-concept toward enterprise-grade tools Support AI adoption through training materials and demonstrations Evaluate and integrate new generative AI models and techniques Provide hands-on support during design reviews and creative launches What you'll need Experience 4-5 years design experience with progression toward creative technology Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, Fashion Design, or related field Hands-on experience with node-based visual coding for generative AI Knowledge of 2D/3D design workflows and footwear design principles Understanding of additive manufacturing and 3D printing Unique Portfolio demonstrating creative and technical work Bonus: spatial computing (AR/VR), web development, or AI/design community involvement #J-18808-Ljbffr Workman Labs
