Piping Stress Engineer (Hybrid)

Position Details Position Type: Full Time / Contract Job Location: Tempe, AZ (hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days onsite per week) Benefits: Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision), 401k, Life Insurance Compensation: $53 - $59/hr, depending on experience Overview/Summary Our Client is a global professional services firm that provides engineering, design, construction, and consulting solutions across infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, energy, water, and government sectors. In this role, you’ll have the chance to work on projects including state of the art industrial and commercial facilities. You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will develop and design a variety of equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial and industrial projects. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience Proficient in pipe stress analysis software such as AutoPIPE and Caesar II Preferred Qualifications Experience working in construction environments including field verifications Working knowledge of plastic pipe design and analysis Working knowledge with design tools such as Navisworks and AutoCAD In order to be considered for this role, you must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without sponsorship.
