Travel Nurse RN - CVOR - $2,603 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Plantation, Florida.

Job Description & Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac and vascular surgeries in the OR
• Ensure sterile technique and OR readiness
• Support pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care
• Manage instruments, equipment, and surgical documentation (Meditech system)
• Participate in on-call rotation (frequent: approx. every other day + alternate weekends)

Required Experience & Skills

• Active RN license
• ACLS and BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years recent CVOR (acute cardiac OR) experience
• Strong experience in open-heart surgical procedures

Common Procedures in Unit

• CABG (bypass surgery)
• Valve repairs/replacements (MVR, AVR)
• Pacemaker implantation
• Laser lead extractions
• Thoracic and endovascular procedures
• Standby for TAVR and MitraClip cases

Unit Overview

• 2 open-heart operating suites
• Staffing: ~2 RNs + 2 techs per shift
• Patient ratio: 2:1
• On-call coverage required due to surgical nature
• Scrubs provided by facility
