Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced GI Clinical Leader to serve as a clinical and administrative leader within an ambulatory care practice. Under the general direction of the Practice Manager and with clinical guidance from the Clinical Manager, this position combines approximately 50% administrative leadership and 50% direct clinical care.

The Clinical Leader will provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff and other clinical team members while ensuring adherence to organizational policies, standardized clinical workflows, and clinical standards. The role supports practice-level performance, quality initiatives, patient safety, competency development, staff engagement, operational efficiency, patient access, and overall patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, retain, develop, and support clinical staff.
• Manage staff performance and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship.
• Coordinate educational and training programs for clinical staff.
• Develop and implement clinical protocols and workflows.
• Monitor compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements, including DNV, OSHA, CLIA, and other relevant standards.
• Implement clinical processes designed to maximize quality of care, efficiency, and productivity.
• Serve as a communication liaison among clinical staff, providers, leadership, and other departments.
• Support and participate in departmental and organizational changes and initiatives.
• Provide direct clinical care to patients.
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information in the electronic medical record.
• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Promote professional practice excellence and consistent adoption of clinical standards.
• Contribute to practice-level operational efficiency and patient experience.
• Take responsibility for individual performance goals.
• Perform additional clinical and operational duties as assigned.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field preferred.
• Associate Degree in Nursing may be considered with applicable commensurate experience.
• Licensure & Certification
• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers, or an equivalent credential accepted by the organization.
• Maintain all department-specific certifications, competencies, and required training.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing with a minimum of 3 years of Registered Nurse experience; or
• Associate Degree in Nursing with a minimum of 5 years of Registered Nurse experience.
• Medical office or ambulatory care experience preferred.
• Clinical leadership, staff development, or supervisory experience preferred.

Physical & Work Requirements:
The physical requirements of this position include:

• Regularly bending, hearing, and speaking.
• Frequently kneeling, reaching, sitting, squatting, walking, and performing activities requiring fine motor skills.
• Occasionally climbing, standing, performing repetitive motions, and other physical activities as required.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, or push/pull up to 10 pounds; frequently handle 10 25 pounds; and occasionally handle 20 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include color vision, depth perception, far vision, near vision, and peripheral vision.
• Regular exposure to bodily fluids and potential exposure to airborne pathogens, moving mechanical parts, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Occasional exposure to bloodborne pathogens, chemotherapeutic agents, radiation, airborne contaminants, and slippery surfaces.
