About the Position

Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal Certifications: BLS, ARRT MR, ARRT R Must-Have: - Adult Acute Care experience - Experience in ER/Trauma, Abdomen, Female and Male Pelvis MRI - Proficient in Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) and Magnetic Resonance Venography (MRV) - Familiar with GE and Siemens MRI equipment - Ability to start peripheral IVs - Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE Description: The MRI Tech will work night shifts, focusing on adult and geriatric patients. They will conduct MRI scans on a variety of body parts and systems, including abdomen, pelvis, brain, and spine. This position requires proficiency in performing advanced imaging techniques and the preparation and administration of contrast media. The MRI Tech will float to different units as needed and may participate in a storm or hurricane response team. Candidates must be flexible with their scheduling and fully available during the initial orientation week. Additional duties may include image post-processing and ensuring patient safety throughout the imaging process. The MRI Tech is expected to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and maintain accurate patient documentation. Travelers may be subject to pre-approved time off policies, and must comply with all facility requirements. RTO after booking is not allowed, and any call-offs could affect contract continuity.
