About the Role

FuzeHr is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Broadcast Traffic Coordinator / Manager to oversee the scheduling, placement, and execution of on-air broadcast content, including commercials, promotional materials, and programming. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate broadcast traffic logs, seamless content delivery, and timely resolution of scheduling and playback issues. The ideal candidate has strong broadcast traffic or media operations experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. The Broadcast Traffic Coordinator / Manager will work closely with Sales, Programming, Production, clients, content partners, and stations/networks to build and maintain daily schedules and ensure all content is delivered accurately and on time. Experience with Amagi Cloudport is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Broadcast Traffic & Scheduling

• Build, manage, and maintain daily broadcast schedules using Amagi Cloudport and other broadcast traffic systems.
• Ensure accurate scheduling and placement of commercials, promotional content, and programming.
• Review daily schedules and logs to identify and resolve discrepancies before air.
• Coordinate schedule changes and last-minute adjustments as needed.

Ad Placement & Sales Coordination

• Partner with Sales teams to coordinate commercial scheduling, ad placements, and contract requirements.
• Ensure advertising commitments are accurately reflected in broadcast schedules.
• Assist with resolving discrepancies between sales orders, traffic instructions, and scheduled content.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Programming teams regarding schedule changes, programming updates, and content requirements.
• Coordinate with Production teams to ensure creative assets are received, properly formatted, and available for scheduled air dates.
• Maintain strong communication across departments to ensure smooth day-to-day media operations.

Client & Partner Support

• Serve as a point of contact for clients, stations, networks, and content partners regarding traffic and scheduling needs.
• Respond promptly to questions and resolve content delivery, scheduling, and traffic-related issues.
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external partners.

Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting

• Identify and troubleshoot scheduling conflicts, playback issues, technical discrepancies, and missing or incorrect assets.
• Manage last-minute changes and time-sensitive requests while maintaining accuracy.
• Escalate technical or operational issues appropriately and follow through to resolution.

Workflow & Log Management

• Oversee broadcast traffic workflows to ensure accurate logs and seamless content flow.
• Review and verify program logs and commercial logs for accuracy, compliance, and proper placement.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to traffic and scheduling activities.

Programming & Metadata Support

• Support content onboarding requirements, including metadata standards, file structures, naming conventions, and content specifications.
• Ensure content is properly entered, organized, and maintained within applicable systems.
• Assist with identifying and correcting metadata or asset discrepancies.

Reporting & Operational Support

• Generate and maintain traffic, scheduling, and operational reports using broadcast software and internal systems.
• Monitor workflow performance and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Support additional media operations and traffic-related initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in broadcast traffic, media operations, or a related area of the media industry required.
• Experience working with broadcast traffic and scheduling systems; experience with Amagi Cloudport strongly preferred.
• Experience managing metadata, file structures, content specifications, and digital media assets.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong math, data entry, and data accuracy skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications; experience with Microsoft Azure is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of scheduling and data-entry activities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision while collaborating effectively with Sales, Programming, Production, Management, and peers.
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced broadcast environment.
• High level of accountability, accuracy, professionalism, and follow-through.
• Ability to understand and support the company's mission, operational goals, and client partnerships.
• Temp to Hire or Direct Hire based on experience
• $25-$30/hr base on experience
• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
