In the Dietary and Food Dietician role, you will help this company in its commitment to serve others by providing nutrition assessment and counseling in Medical Nutrition Therapy for adult and pediatric patients.Consult with physicians and other health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patientsDevelop and implement a treatment plan following dietary field guidelinesProvide individual and group counseling on the control of diabetes, cholesterol, hypertension, obesity, and other diagnosesSuggest appropriate behavior modification methods for control and alteration of eating habitsFormulate menus for therapeutic diets based on medical and physical condition of patients, and integrate patients' menus with basic institutional menusInstruct clients and their families in nutritional principles, dietary plans, food selection, and preparationServe as a resource and educator for health care providers and staffDevelop policies for food service or nutritional programs to assist in health promotion and disease controlMonitor food service operations to ensure conformance to nutritional, safety, sanitation, and quality standardsMaster's degree in NutritionMinimum 3 years of experience in a medical environment and/or administering nutritional serviceState license requiredExceptional attention to detail and effective communication skillsA reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approachA commitment to quality in everything you doWhy Join Us?Full compensation/benefits package for full-time employees.401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holiday payEnjoy complex work that makes a difference in the lives of those we serveCareer development and advancement opportunities across a nationwide networkWe have meaningful work for you – come join our team – Apply Today!Sevita is a leading provider of home and community-based specialized health care.
