Work where you matter.A Brief OverviewAccountable for staff development expertise as an educator, consultant, facilitator, change agent and a leader in the area of support. Develops nursing expertise and fosters empowerment through knowledge to achieve excellence through the delivery of evidenced-based clinical practice. This occurs through the facilitation of the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation and evaluation of competency assessment, continuing education and leadership development.What You Will DoProvides staff development expertise as an educator, consultant, facilitator, change agent and leader.Develops and identifies clinical prevention strategies in area of expertise.Supports the development of the nurse and fosters empowerment through knowledge to achieve excellence through the delivery of evidenced-based clinical practice. This occurs through the facilitation of the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of competency assessment, continuing education and leadership development.Proactively participates in continuing education with a goal of enhancement of clinical practice.Serves as a resource in the development, implementation and evaluation of clinical protocols and practice management guidelines essential to assure compliance with care standards.Collaborates with the director/manager to develop and implement an education and orientation plan in clinical area of focus.
