Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Position Summary As a Merchandising & Stocking Associate at Sam’s Club, you will work on your feet to keep members’ shopping experience smooth and enjoyable. Your responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, managing back‑room inventory, and assisting members with product location and purchasing decisions. This role is fast‑paced and physically demanding, often requiring lifting up to 25 pounds and swift adaptation to changing work scenarios. What You'll Do Unload trucks promptly and accurately. Assist club pick‑up orders and stage selected products as directed. Stock, arrange, and organize merchandise on shelves and in the backroom. Maintain a clean, organized, and member‑ready environment. Engage vendors and drivers with a positive attitude. Follow safety procedures, including forklift spotting and hazardous material handling. Monitor food and merchandise quality, ensuring proper rotation and sanitation standards. Identify and report shrink, damages, and safety hazards to management. Desired Qualifications Experience in a high‑volume inventory or retail environment preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaborate with teammates. Good communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset. Physical stamina to lift and move items up to 25 pounds. Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00. Additional compensation premiums may be awarded ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
