Field Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults on solar PV and battery storage systems.
• Perform insulation resistance (Megger) testing and other electrical diagnostics.
• Identify and rectify system performance, communication, and hardware issues.
• Replace and recommission faulty equipment, including:
• SolarEdge optimizers
• Inverters
• Battery storage systems
• Solar modules/panels
• Manage and perform manufacturer warranty replacements (RMA process).
• Commission and recommission systems following repairs or equipment replacement.
• Complete service reports and ensure all work is carried out safely and to industry standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience servicing and troubleshooting SolarEdge, Tesla, Enphase, and LG Battery systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Competency in Megger testing and electrical testing procedures.
• Experience replacing inverters, optimizers, batteries, and solar modules.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and commissioning documentation.
• Current driver's license and ability to work independently in the field.
