Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Deliver exceptional patient care for general Med Surg and PCU patients
• Manage trach care and chest tube management
• Perform PIV starts and manage continuous bladder irrigation (CBI)
• Administer non-titratable drips and monitor patient responses
• Coordinate care with PCAs, CNAs, and unit coordinators
• Utilize remote telemonitoring and support unit operations
• Adhere to weekend rotation and holiday scheduling as needed

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting
• Valid BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency in trach care, chest tube management, PIV starts, CBI, and non-titratable drips
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly Cerner
