Quality Manager

Your client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to oversee and enhance their quality management system in line with AS9100 standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in quality assurance within the aerospace & defense sector and possess strong leadership abilities to guide our quality team towards achieving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the company's quality management system to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards. Lead internal and external audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality objectives and targets. Analyze quality performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide leadership and guidance to quality assurance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure product and process integrity. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes to resolve quality issues. Liaise with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies on quality-related matters. Prepare and present quality reports to senior management. Stay current with industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably within the aerospace industry. In-depth knowledge of AS9100 standards and quality management systems. Proven experience with quality assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques (PPAP, APQP, etc). Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
