Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Medical/Telemetry (Nights)

Location

Corpus Christi, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 22-bed Medical/Telemetry unit with a maximum patient ratio of 6:1
• Perform standard nursing skills including IV insertion, urinary catheter insertion and maintenance, and central line maintenance
• Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation within the Meditech EMR system
• Communicate effectively with all members of the care team to ensure patient-centered outcomes
• Care for medical/surgical and orthopedic patients across the night shift
• Float to med/surg units as needed per unit guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (or compact eligibility) in the state of Texas
• Minimum 2+ years of acute medical/surgical experience within the last year
• Demonstrated ability to manage 4–6 patients simultaneously
• Proficiency with standard nursing equipment and electronic health record documentation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of orthopedic nursing experience
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Friendly, positive, and team-focused approach to patient care
