Firestop Technician
LSS Life Safety Services® – Louisville, KY (Travel Required)

LSS Life Safety Services® is a national leader in passive fire protection. We help commercial and healthcare facilities meet NFPA, ICC, Joint Commission, and state compliance standards. We’re hiring 2 Firestop Technicians with opportunities for advancement. No experience required—paid training provided.

What You’ll Do
• Install, inspect, and repair fire-rated assemblies in commercial and healthcare facilities
• Apply fire-rated caulks, sealants, and materials to prevent the spread of smoke and fire
• Document work accurately for customer compliance reports
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members
• Participate in ongoing training and certification activities

What Helps You Succeed 
• Experience in construction, carpentry, drywall, or insulation is helpful
• Familiarity with firestopping methods (preferred but not required)
• Ability to read and interpret life safety drawings
• Strong customer service and communication skills and comfort working in occupied facilities
• Self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Email)
• Ability to learn and utilize proprietary software                                                                                                                                                      • Ability to travel: 10 days on (or longer), 4 days home • Must provide your own basic hand tools                                                                                                                                                               

Requirements
• High school diploma or GED
• Age 21+
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass drug screen, background check, and physical
