This in-person, full-time contract position offers the chance to make a lasting difference in a supportive educational setting, serving a single elementary school with a manageable caseload of 32 students.

Ideal candidates demonstrate a strong background working within schools and a passion for helping children develop the functional skills necessary for academic and social success. Daily responsibilities combine collaboration, assessment, and hands-on support to empower young learners and their educators.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid ESA and Washington OT license (copies required for consideration)
• Fingerprints completed through OSPI
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Skilled in providing OT services within a classroom setting
• Excellent communication and organizational capabilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to elementary students per IEP requirements
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Support and educate teachers, staff, and families to promote generalization of OT strategies
• Maintain compliance with documentation, timelines, and reporting standards
• Engage in regular communication with caregivers and school personnel to monitor progress and adapt interventions as needed
